Unfocused on one thing.

Besides the obvious, like not having a strategy, having money to promote CPA offers, or trying to find the best affiliate network, people don't know how to gain momentum because they focused on the wrong things or cannot stay focused on one thing long enough. Figure out a strategy and stick with it. Take time to test, find patterns, and create the right mindset.

Broad mind/Mindset

You will have to invest time and money into your online empire. If you don't have goals or if you have too much going on you will not build a business overnight or by just working for 1 hour a day. The hard work and effort you put into your business will pay off in the long term because it will produce results.

Having a  broke mentality

You need to add new, useful content to your website on a consistent basis. If your website does not solve your customer's problems effectively, you will have trouble driving relevant traffic to your website.

No definition of a niche

You need to pick an affiliate marketing niche market rather than a broad market. You won't win the competition against large websites so you need to find your niche. You can always expand when you start to find success. For example, fitness is a very broad market, but yoga is a good niche to tackle.

You are not doing the correct things

When you Marketing the wrong product. You can drive all the relevant traffic in the world, but if your affiliate products don't sell then you will struggle to make sales. You also need to believe in the products or services you are selling.

Focus on Money rather than traffic

Focusing on Money Rather Than Traffic. You need to focus on driving relevant traffic to your website and then sales will follow. The more traffic you drive from organic search, social media, email marketing, and paid advertising, the more sales you will drive. Focus on traffic first and foremost. Any earnings or income representations are inspirational statements only and results are not typical. There is no guarantee that you’ll receive the same results or any results at all. Your results will depend entirely on your work ethic.

No Strategy for Traffic Sources

Search Engine Optimization, Email Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Referral Traffic, and Paid Advertising are all important traffic sources. You need to have a strategy for driving traffic from different sources. Your content can be helpful for driving organic traffic, growing your social media profiles, and growing your revenue.

That's literally all you need, it's that simple.
Most people who try affiliate marketing fail because they don't follow through on one or more of the above principles. The one that sucks the most to miss out on, is Strategy/Consistency. Because what if you have the right mindset and take consistent action but still see no results?

Affiliate marketing is awesome however it requires more things including patience. Nothing happens quickly! You need to become a full-time affiliate marketer. Don't believe it 'll not happen. It'll definitely happen if you focus on the above principles.
Don’t blame anyone or anything. Do the work and make it happen. Lots of people have a broke mentality, they are waiting for someone to come to save their ASS! Don't do like these people.
